1. How does the tier based performance rewards and revenue work?
Once accepted into the Field Partner Program, you will receive a unique tracking link and custom assets to share with your audience. When your community uses these to gear up with us, our system tracks your lifetime sales volume in real-time. We believe in rewarding long-term loyalty, which is why your commission rate scales automatically as you hit career milestones—specifically at 10, 25, and 50 lifetime sales, and beyond. You can track your total historical volume, monitor your increasing commission tiers, and see your progress toward unlocking free gear directly through your partner dashboard.
2. I am currently on the pro staff for another outdoor brand. Can I still apply?
It depends on the brand's product category. To protect the integrity of our partnership, you cannot be a member of a field staff, pro staff, or promotional team for a competing brand. If you represent a company that makes non-competing gear (for example, you represent a bow manufacturer or a company that only makes apparel), that is completely fine. We expect our partners to be exclusive, authentic advocates for our specific product line.
3. What kind of content creators are you looking for?
We look for active hunters, anglers, trappers, and outdoorsmen/women who are intentionally growing their digital footprint. Whether you run a YouTube channel, a podcast, a dedicated Instagram page, or a TikTok account, we look for high-quality content, genuine engagement, and a community built on respect for the sport. Followers matter less than the authenticity of your connection with your audience and your alignment with our core values.
4. Is this just a discount code program or a social media "collab"?
Absolutely not. We are explicitly avoiding the "transactional influencer" model. This is a multi-tiered, ideally long-term relationship. While you do get exclusive gear privileges, we are looking for partners who want to build a future with us. This means deeper brand integration and scaling your personal revenue as our brand grows. If you are just looking for a quick coupon code to post once and forget, this program is not a good fit.

At Northwinds, how we conduct ourselves in the field matters more than the size of the harvest. We expect our Field Partners to be exemplary stewards of the outdoors. This means strictly adhering to local fish and game laws, practicing ethical harvesting, respecting public and private lands, and actively supporting conservation efforts. Your content and public platform must reflect the highest standards of sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity.
